Are UFOs Demonic?

 Since the government released a cache of files of supposed UFOs online commentary is buzzing about what this all means?  Including Christians.  In past years I don't remember hearing much discussion in Christian circles about UFOs.  In a CHRISTIAN POST article today (June 2) a chief exorcist in DC suggests that the best explanation might be demonic.  Here is a quote from the article:  Monsignor Stephen J. Rossetti, who serves as chief exorcist for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, joined the growing chorus of Catholics and other Christians warning that UFOs and related phenomena are likely demonic. During a brief message posted last Friday to the YouTube page of his St. Michael Center for Spiritual Renewal, Rossetti noted the growing national conversation about UFOs. A Christian Response to A.I.

(The following is a brief article I submitted to my local paper's "Clergy Corner" where various pastors in my area rotate in writing articles for the community. I believe it addresses a growing concern for the church we are only beginning to recognize.)   We usually identify it with two simple letters, A.I., which stands for Artificial Intelligence.    For a long time, it felt like the stuff of science fiction.   Either a very capable friend to assist or enemy to avoid and fear, advanced technology has often been anything but neutral or benign.   The sci-fi movies often portrayed it in apocalyptic images where our own sophisticated devices and inventions eventually turned on humanity, such as in the Terminator series with its cybernetic assassins generated by the ominous seemingly all-powerful computer network Skynet.   Well, these movies now seem less fiction and more real, and their reality feels just as dangerous as the films once envisioned.   For ...
